The last week of October into November has come and Halloween has come! With the Haunted House come up, strangely clean, too clean, INTERPOL has decided to leave it open for now while it is under surveilance. However, there has been more movement on the Ultra Guardians side as more information has continued to flow. It seems that there has been a push to discover Plates, that have been discovered in different Regions.

Now with November starting into December, the weather of Alola's daytime, average high temperatures typically range in the mid to low 80s. Evening temperatures usually dip into the upper 60s to lower 70s. Per weather records, November rainfall levels in Alola are higher than average. The ocean temperatures around Hawaii are pleasant enough for swimming which is still very pleasant. However, there's also winter-time adventures as Mount Lanakila also is opening it's Ski and Hot Springs Resort. That greedy Viren has opened up one on the mountain, and while he doesn't like you, he's inviting you all for a trip on the first of November. Which is good, because it eliminates the need for housing for your School Field Trip from the first to the seventh.

A. Arrival

Another wave of Ultra Holes have opened up over the Island, alarms have appeared and the Ultra Guardians as well as Bewear has come into play. This time, the Fallers have been asked to intercept the literally Falling people who are coming out of the holes and brief them and bring them to the Pokemon Center, ie Immigration to get checked in. Wicke is there to answer questions but a few volunteers may be there as well. The experienced Fallers can get you up to speed.


B. The Alola Community Visitors Plaza

A venue usually for tourists, new Fallers are given a chance to see the main tourist area for Alola, in order to orient and familiarize themselves with the nature of Alola and Pokemon in general. A far cry from the disorganized mob that was originally there, this time, there are people set up in the stands, ready to receive tourists and Fallers alike. Pamphlets, interviews with locals and tour guides, Ride Pokemon to take you around the island, and various other places are available. Please look around, the choice is yours. For the end of the month, it is now decorated for Halloween.


C. The Hau’oli City Markets

This is where the marketplace stands, full of fresh fruit and food. Those who are hungry can be treated to a delicious taste of Alola. Not once, not twice, but more times than they can imagine. Your coin is good here, even if it’s alien in nature. Even if you don’t have coin, you’ll be fine. Ohana. No one is left behind or forgotten. We’re not about to let people go hungry in this world. Nature’s bounty is for everyone, humans and Pokemon alike. There’s no need to steal, just ask the marketplace for some food if you are very hungry. Even if you’re shy, Miss Anela will offer you a snack. This time however, it is now serving Halloween themed treats and pumpkin treats as well.


D. Job Board

Odd Jobs have been posted here right now, thanks to the efforts of the people who have decided to help the Fallers out, and it’s also a help wanted board for those who want to earn some coin in the middle of the week before the beginning of the school year. Tasks such as bucking crates of Juice off a truck, to doing some simple paperwork in an office for a few days, and even tending Pokemon in a farm on Akala Island. The choice is yours. Get out and explore. There's also now halloween themed decorating jobs and pumpkin harvesting related things.


E. Exploring Melemele

If you wish to explore Melemele, it is a big island, and there is plenty to see. There are Forests, Honey Fields, Hot Springs, Beaches, and many other places. Melemele boasts one of the biggest cities Hau’oli City, and is the capital of Alola. Here, up at the top of a large plateau is the challenge area where Hala offers the Grand Trial. The caves are full of Pokemon, and your Pokemon are eager to prove themselves in a Trial. You can also check out Ula'ula's Ghost Town if you want, the ferry is open this time, and Acerola will show you around her library.


F. Grand Trials

The Four Kahuna are accepting challengers once more. Those who wish to participate in the sacred trials are allowed to participate in the Grand Trials once more, to earn the right of the Z. With the goals in mind, you may undertake a Trial to earn a Z-Crystal first, and then take on a Grand Trial for a Z-Ring and a Z-Crystal. The choice is yours which to tackle first.


G. Pokemon School Trip

The School Trip to Mount Lanakila might come as a surprise, but there is a big, snowy mountain on Alola! Bundle up for winter time activities and hot spring shenanigans because there's plenty of both! Relax in the hot springs as snow falls gently around your body, play in the snow in the day, view amazing Snow Pokemon, explore the incredible Ice Caverns, and perhaps participate in the PokeJump Competitions which is a long-jump sledding competition with your Pokemon.


H. Melemele General Hospital

Even Angela is working extra hard to make sure everyone's prepared for the winter, and that makes time for checkups, and other such things. If you've got the sniffles, this one is for you. But also, come chat with Angela, and meet some of the more colorful visitors from Overwatch Earth.


I. Aether Labs

Come review the brand new information that makes the Ultra Guardians go on the offensive. Which means, Aether Labs is open to the science community! The scientific community heads can now access the labs, and the resources within. Under the guidance of Wicke, Faba and, Burnet, you're allowed access to Aether's resources to build and invent and upgrade and repair your own equipment.


J. Unovan Togetherness Day

Every November, the people of Unova celebrate a day where they come together together after a long harvest year, and feast with family and friends. Fallers might recognize this as Thanksgiving, but the connotation of thanking the Pokemon is strong in this world, as they came first in this world, and the people of Alola celebrate their families and their friends and their precious partners.


K. Ryme City Anniversary

In the middle of the month of November, there is the Ryme City Anniversary. A week leading up to a parade with floats and celebrations. The Fallers are invited to Ryme City and will be preparing for their first international trip. Pack your bags, we're going on an Educational Field Trip!

The Spirit twitches at this explanation, shooting an irritated glare at the general direction the mimikyu had disappeared into.

"Tch... 'Kaseri'? Ano'der monster?" Because if that's a pokemon, this is exactly what went down with him and the mimikyu - minor potential differences like 'stepped in to protect his pokemon from another pokemon' vs 'had his nose broken by his pokemon when she interfered with his fighting another pokemon' aside.

The spirit had totally been doing fine before she interrupted. Totally fine.

"Yeah, yeah," he repeats as the nurse disappears in the back for a bit. "They said she was a...Ponyta?"

"Niiihihiii!" Speak of the devil.

"Your pokemon is right as rain," speaks the nurse Joy bringing ponyta forward, the rainbowmaned thing slowly ambling over to rub her horn againsr the trainer.

"Ack- Hey, 's fine..!"

The wounds heal, and while Katsuya looks a bit bashful the nurse laughs. "See? Now, to deal with that pikachu..."

The joy wanders off, leaving Katsuya to idly rub the pony's ears. "...Er...anyway, th's Kaseri..."

The Spirit watches them sourly as he considers a few matters... such as: "'id she come named?"

He hasn't named himself, of course he hasn't named the mimikyu - that and he's trying to make a point of her not being his. She's a random monster following him, making a nuisance of herself, that is a perfectly accurate description of their relationship, yes.

"Nyh? What, like th' species? Nah, uh...they said that was 'ponyta' or whatever. Nah, she jus' found me in th' woods and stuck around I guess." He shrugs. "She seems pr'tty neat- keeps me on m' toes when I'm abou' t' 'zone out'!" he laughs, as if that would be an inside joke the Ring spirit should recognize.

The one in his world would've at least.

The Spirit is only half listening - it's occurred to him that if he leaves now, he might finally be able to ditch the mimikyu - but that's enough for him to pick up on odd phrases and tones. Odd phrases like 'zone out' (what's that referencing, he doesn't remember Jonouchi being particularly prone to..?) and odd tones like 'inside joke' (....??).

The Ring-Spirit decides to put his ongoing mimikyu problems on hold, and instead eyes Jonouchi with mild suspicion. "You 'zone out' frequently...?" More information needed to even attempt processing. Explain yourself, possible-doppelganger.

Excuse him a second. He's being vividly reminded of his conversation with Seto, and not in the Zoning Out Way. Katsuya narrows his eyes, a few slow seconds passing before he really speaks again.

"...'y sayin'...I don't..?" As in, whatever version you know, obviously, because obviously they are not from each other's worlds!

...That is not an explanation. Suspicion increased! The Spirit narrows his eyes at the definitely-a-doppelganger. There are only two possibilities. Either this is a different Jonouchi (from... somewhere), one who appears to be on actively friendly terms with the Spirit of the Millennium Ring, or this is something else that's started slipping in its Jonouchi-impression.

"Who or wha' are 'ou?"

One of those possibilities seems likelier to him than the other.

"Aaaaaaaaah- Dangit!" That also isn't an answer, but as he holds his head and leans back he huffs. "Maaaan, why'm I th' only version 'f me dealin' w' this crap!"

"I ain't anythin', OR anyone else dammit! I'm jus' me!" Well Explain then!

"Maybe 'ou'd deal wi'd less o' it if 'ou did a better job."

Could this maybe-Jou-maybe-not be needled into explaining? Possibly! And if not, needling at least tended to give the Spirit clues, so: yes, this is now a fishing expedition.

...Either this is something claiming that it's being forced to impersonate Jonouchi, or this is Jonouchi trying to whine - to the Spirit of the Millennium Ring - about how hard it is to be Jonouchi, and the Ring-Spirit doesn't know which scenario would be weirder, what is happening.

Secondly, more importantly, a trend has been noted. The Spirit isn't invested enough to expend effort here - if Jou-or-not wants him to work for the explanation then forget it. But the trend. Coincidence or no??

"Are we both not using 'your' name intentionally?" Eyes narrowed, silently demanding the explanation for this much.

Because if somehow this person thinks the Ring-Spirit is... also?? somehow possessed?? ('more-possessed-than-usual'???) that would be hilarious.

What is wrong with both you and your Ring-Spirit. Something in that world has clearly fucked up!

Ok, that sounds more believable. The Spirit is... not sure this is relief he's feeling, but at least that world is still comprehensible. Sorta. Wait -

"...How the fuck did you see that?" Does that other world's shadow games work differently, did Jonouchi end up with Osiris - alright, nevermind, the place is returning to incomprehensibility.

Katsuya opens his mouth. Katsuya closes his mouth. He frowns....and keeps frowning.

"Man, righ' when I figured I w's done 'xplainin this t' anyone..." Boooo he hates it! But, alright. "I dunno what 's like f'r your me, seein' how 't sounds more like he got lucky an' doesn't have t' deal w' this, but f'r me at least, I've been seein' like...th' Other Yugi an' such since I guess tha' fire at th' Black Clown?" He sounds hesitant. "...I dunno, I sorta heard 'm a few times? I guess th' reason I never saw you 'til that bit agains' Osiris was jus' that y' never bothered t' do tha' kinda thing."

The Spirit had been focused on shadow game logistics. He's not sure what kind of logistics are being described here.

"...You. can see m- us? Outside shadow games, when we're. not driving.."

He sure is calling possession that! Also making a pretty weird face. The Spirit is having some kind of reaction to this information, and he can't identify it past somthing hapen.

He stares at Jonouchi, with that weird expression, for a few moments longer than his own 'shit shit do something don't stand there' instincts are ok with. He manages to push himself out of... whatever just happened, uh... the Spirit's instincts are basically screaming at him to do something, so he settles on bristling and edging back closer towards the exit. "I can't do that."

...Maybe not information he should give out? What does he do with this.

Bristling intensifies.

"Err...can't or won't?" He scratches his ear. "Anyway I said it was durin yer duel didn' I? Didn' y' go makin' that a shadow game? Either way, y' definit'ly stood behind 'm a bit, b'fore goin' back in t' take Osiris' hit y'rself. I dunno abou' you, but I think Bakura appreciated it at leas'..."

It's can't, it's very definitely CAN'T - because the Ring-Spirit is still focused on this 'spirit-sight'-whatever that Jonouchi is describing, rather than anything related to his own behavior.

But! speaking of which. "Tch, of cour'd I did!" (...Which action is getting labeled the 'of course' here...)
