Kinro nodded curtly as he settled into the building. He wasn't used to such a dwelling, but he could appreciate how homely it was, and how rich the building felt as both a dwelling and a place of learning. "I see," he said. "I hadn't seen many stories here before."
Moving towards a bookshelf, he picked a book out of the bookshelves and opened it up, peering at the writing for a moment. "... what language is this?" he asked curiously.
The language of the book he was looking at was Kalosian, a equivalent of real world French, but to him, it would look like jumbled up English, something he hadn't seen before. Kinro, had only learned Japanese before, and only had begun to learn how to write recently over the last year before becoming literate. "Are there any books in Japanese?"
