It's not going to be any less embarrassing to admit that Kaiba saved him- a second time. So cooler heads prevail this time as he refrains from further endangering his life with his thoughtless reactions. Kaiba has the additional decency of not making a snide remark about it.

"Wait. Now I'm more confused........" Shaking his head. "If this isn't India dan how are we flying on a dragon?" Look there's some logic in there somewhere.
