“Alola!” she said back, testing the word, then giggled. “Oh, definitely! I haven’t been to the beach in so long!” She stumbled a bit as she turned to face him, but stopped short, quickly lifting her foot with a stunned look. Looking down, she then smiled apologetically, reached under the water cloudy with scattered sand, and raised a small, broken shell. “Seashell,” she said, as if to excuse herself, but holding it up to the sun’s light, its pretty pink stripes on pearly white shone.
“Pretty...”
She knelt down now to address Pikachu, still clutching her treasure.
“Hello, Pikachu! Are you visiting from Kanto too?”
